Message from Riaan de Bruyn
Being a member of the church is like being a partner in a business—you can’t function alone, because you are an integral part of the whole community.
It’s also like being part of a family. Just as families are made up of individual households, a church is made up of small groups that form the larger community. What others do affects you, and isolation or disengagement leads to disconnection.
Spiritual maturity means putting the Kingdom of God above personal interests. No one is perfect, but every member has a role and a calling to serve. Members who are inactive are like children leaving all the work to others—they risk becoming careless and irresponsible.
Faithful participation involves regular attendance at services, small groups, and events, commitment to prayer, faithful giving, and active involvement in ministry. You are a vital part of the church. Your presence, faithfulness, and positive attitude are essential to the life and growth of the community.

Meaning of our name
“Siloam” is a Greek word that can mean: “sent,” “messengers,” or “fountain.”
About us
When we started
The church originated as Bloemfontein-West Congregation when it separated from Bloemfontein-Central Congregation in September 1953. As a church, we humbly believe and declare that our origin, existence, and continuation are all thanks to God. We are part of the global Church of Jesus Christ and therefore under His rule as Head. Our church name isAGS Siloam. We are part of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa.

Our strategy to achieve this vision and mission is to ;
- HEAL: Siloam will be a place where people can come to receive “healing” and “restoration” through Jesus, the “Fountain” of Living Water.
- GROW: Siloam will be a place where people will grow spiritually and develop to the full potential of their CREATIONAL PURPOSE.
- GO: Siloam’s members will be empowered to obey Jesus’ GREAT COMMISSION, going out to influence our world with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
